Second suspect in US missionaries murders still at large

The hunt is still on for the second suspect in the murder of two United States missionaries in St Mary in April.

Last Thursday, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Ealan Powell said 25-year-old Port Maria resident Dwight Henry also called ‘Dougie’ and ‘Chino’ should surrender to the police by Friday.

However, ACP Powell said up to last night, Henry was still at large.

On Thursday, 25-year-old Andre Thomas from Albion Mountain was charged with two counts of murder and as well as illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.

The police are alleging that Thomas murdered 48-year-old Randy Hentzel and 53-year-old Harold Nichols during a robbery attempt in Albion Mountain.

Nichols and Hentzel were part of the US-based TEAMS for Medical Missions and had been in Jamaica since 2002.
