New voters' list registration closes in 11 days

Jamaicans wishing to get on the new voters’ list to be published in November have 11 more days to get registered.

The Electoral Commission of Jamaica says persons not registered by September 30 will not be able to have their names added before May 2017.

Persons may visit the constituency office nearest them to get registered.

There are 1,849,012 electors on the current voters’ list published in May.
