Trial pushed back for two cops implicated in 'death squad'

Today’s trial of two policemen who were charged with murder for allegedly being part of a 'death squad' in Clarendon has been pushed back until March 6 next year.
The policemen, Detective Corporal Kevin Adams and Constable Jerome Whyte have both been charged for the fatal shooting of Anthony Trought.
The two cops are among a group of 11 policemen who were arrested and placed before the courts in 2014 on several counts of murder and shooting with intent arising from incidents which investigators say were initially reported as civilian homicides.
The probe is being handled by the Independent Commission Of Investigations (INDECOM).
Earlier this year, a High Court judge ordered police commissioner Carl Williams to hand over the personnel records of all the policemen now facing criminal charges for allegedly being part of a 'death squad' in Clarendon.
