FLOW trying to retrieve residential directories exposing customers' private numbers

Telecommunications Company FLOW says it’s making efforts to retrieve residential telephone directories in which the contact numbers and other details of customers with private listings were published.

In advertisements in the newspapers today, FLOW said it unreservedly apologised for the inclusion of the private listings in this year’s residential directories.

The company says it has taken immediate steps to prevent a recurrence and to minimise any potential impact on its customers.

FLOW says these steps include the retrieval of the directories; removal of the residential listing from online channels; and the halting of distribution of the physical directories.

FLOW says it’s also waiving the private listing charges for the 2016-2017 period and offering a new private number free of charge for a year to its customers.
