Clarendon police to target young people wearing 'hoody'

The Clarendon police have been instructed to detain and question young people wearing hooded pullovers in the parish.

This as Superintendent Vendolyn Cameron Powell says the police are seeing a worrying number of crimes being committed by young men wearing hooded pullovers.

She says the wearing of hooded sweaters has become a new trend mainly among young men in the parish capital of May Pen.

Cameron Powell says this is a concern for the police.

However, she says the installation of closed circuit television is helping to make May Pen a safer place
