#glnrChamps: Record run for Calabar’s Dejour Russell despite hamstring injury

Calabar’s Dejour Russell turned in a scintillating performance to win Class one boys 110 hurdles in a new meet record of 13.21.

Russell who was suffering from an hamstring injury entering the championships, eclipsed the previous mark of 13.24 which was held by KC's Omar McLeod. Russell’s teammate Orlando Bennett was second in 13.52 while third went to JC’s Oquendo Bernard in 13.53.    

Meanwhile, Wolmer’s Boys Jeremy Farr completed the double when he won the boys Class Two 100m hurdles in 13.38.

Brithon Senior from Rusea’s second in 13.70 while JC’s Jarmaar Miller was third in 13.73. 

Farr also won the gold in the boys 400m hurdles on Friday.
