Three illegal guns, ammo seized from men on bike

Three illegal guns were reportedly taken from two men on a motorcycle yesterday by police assigned to the St Andrew South Police Division.

The police say they seized one Glock pistol with two magazines, a Taurus pistol with one magazine and a .38 revolver.

Reports are that a team from the Hunts Bay police intercepted the men along the Mandela Highway about 5:45 p.m. A bag they were carrying was searched and the firearms seized.

The men were taken into custody; however, their identities are being withheld pending further investigations.
