Gov't gets public-private partnership proposal to build health sector accomodation

Government is to examine a private/public partnership proposal to construct accommodations for healthcare professionals.

Health Minister, Dr Christopher Tufton told JIS News that such an arrangement will require an injection of funds from an investor to develop the housing facilities.

He was speaking ahead of a tour at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Morant Bay, St Thomas, on Friday.

He said the hospital was among facilities that could benefit from the accommodations.
