The new president and CEO of Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL) is Ann-Dawn Young Sang, a certified public accountant with more than 20 years' experience in the field of accounts, finance and general management.

Chairman of Supreme Ventures Group, Paul Hoo made the announcement yesterday, approximately 10 months after the passing of SVL former president and CEO, Brian George. Young Sang is the regional vice-president for the Caribbean for International Game Technology (IGT), the world's largest lottery operator and technology partner for SVL since the company's inception in 2001. She will be the company's first female CEO.

"I'm really pleased with Mrs Young Sang's appointment, which received the board's unanimous approval," said Hoo. "We know that she will do an excellent job in her new role.

"This year has been a historic year for SVL in terms of our record financial performance for the first and second quarters of this year," said Hoo.

He added: "2017 will also now go down in history for us as the year we appointed our first female CEO. We know that with the addition of Mrs Young Sang to our already strong management team, we will keep on our winning path throughout 2017. We welcome her and wish her all the best when she takes up her new role in October".
