Two arrested in Clarendon cocaine bust

The Narcotics Police arrested two men for breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act in Clarendon earlier this week.
Reports are that about 10:30 Monday night, Narcotics Detectives were conducting anti-narcotics operations in the parish, when they intercepted a white Toyota Probox in the vicinity of the May Pen toll plaza with two men aboard.
The vehicle and both men were searched and cocaine weighing approximately half of a kilogramme
was found under the dashboard of the car.
The drug has an estimated street value of $640,000.
Both men are expected to be charged with Possession of Cocaine, Dealing in Cocaine, Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of Criminal Property and Conspiracy.
