Ganja found in tins labelled 'ackee' and 'breadfruit' at Sangster airport

The Narcotics Police say ganja weighing 240 pounds were found at the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, St James on Thursday in containers bearing the label of a popular Jamaican brand.
Police investigators say the ganja was found in 24 tins with labels indicating that they contained ackee and breadfruit.
The Narcotics Police says no arrest has been made in connection with the seizure.
Law enforcement sources say security personnel at Sangster Airport were conducting checks around a flight that was destined for Munich, Germany when they observed several boxes in luggage container that was unattended.
The Narcotics Police were alerted and during a search of the luggage container, it is reported that 10 carton boxes were found with the 24 tins of compressed ganja labelled as ackee and breadfruit.
The ganja has an estimated street value of just under $1 million.
