The man charged with the murder of fashion designer Dexter Pottinger is to return to court today.

Twenty-one-year-old Romario Brown was denied bail when he appeared in the St Andrew Parish Court in September.

Prosecutors told the court that they were still awaiting the results of a post-mortem to complete their case file.

Pottinger's decomposing body was found at his Yarico Place residence in St Andrew on August 31.

The body had multiple stab wounds.

The police had reported that the murder weapon and a television were found at Brown's Stony Hill residence.

The 21-year-old tattoo artist was out on bail for the killing of a woman in St Andrew last year.

That matter is pending before the Home Circuit Court.
