JCF's High Visibility Day: Force inviting citizens to ask questions, interact with them
The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) is urging members of the public to come out and interact with its members today as they take to the nation’s streets.
The JCF has dubbed today, High Visibility Day.
Last week, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Novelette Grant said members of the Force will be out to interact with citizens and answer their questions.
This event forms part of the observance of Police Week 2017, as well as the celebratory activities of the 150th Anniversary of the Jamaica Constabulary Force.
Tomorrow the National Police College of Jamaica and The University of the West Indies, Open Campus, will collaborate to host the second Regional Policing and Security Conference.
It will be held under the theme, Our Journey: Reflecting on the Past; Charting the Future.
