McKenzie condemns verbal clash between councillors at KSAMC meeting
The Local Government Minister has condemned yesterday's verbal clash between two councillors during the monthly sitting of the Kingston and St Andrew Municipal Corporation.
In a media release this morning, Desmond McKenzie criticised the incident which descended into a verbal altercation between Councillor for the Norbrook Division, Susan Senior, and Councillor for the Trafalgar Division, Kari Douglas.

McKenzie says the incident is a clear indication that some councillors still do not understand their purpose and collective mission.
According to him, any conduct that is unbecoming undermines the strenuous efforts to transform the image of local government.
The local government minister says he has requested that the matter be investigated and the chairman of the municipal corporation and mayor of Kingston, Delroy Williams, submit a report to him.
