Angry Mountain View residents protest violence upsurge

A section of Mountain View Avenue in Kingston was blocked by angry residents to protest the upsurge in violence in the area.

Gunmen struck in the Goodwich Lane community yesterday shooting a man and woman.

This is the latest in a series of attacks between rival gangs in the area, which have left several people dead.

The residents say they are tired of the violence and want the authorities to put a stop to it.
