​Accountant transporting female artiste from party found dead, woman missing

The Clarendon police are investigating the discovery of the body of Esron Laing, an accountant from Rocky Point in the parish about 6 a.m. on Thursday.

The body appeared to have gunshot wounds. 

A Range Rover, which is said to be that of the deceased, was also seen on the banks of the river in bushes close to where his body was discovered.

Laing, who was at a party in Portland Cottage last night with a female artiste from Kingston, left the event about 4 a.m. to take her home.

She remains missing.

Some of her belongings were found on the scene and in the vehicle.
