Dwayne Wedderburn | Don't quit ... pursue!

Proving God after the enemy has devastated your life is the biggest victory you will ever win. Many persons at different points in their lives become victims of sudden unprecedented satanic invasions. The enemy literally strike and steal everything that they possess. Family members, jobs, cars, houses, long standing relationships, spouses and even trust from the people they lead.

At times the attack is so great that the purpose of God, your life's mission, work and worth become meaningless.

The usual positive thinkers, the mentors and the motivators have no advice to give while your reputation hangs on the line. Based on the magnitude of disaster, your advisers steer away from having any conversation that speaks to your present calamities.

Sustained periods of such attacks often ends in losses so great that it is impossible to recover.  Losing everything and everyone often takes our will to fight with it. God has declared in His word that he will never leave you or forsake you. It is important to know that when you have come to the place that all is lost and God is all you have, in reality God is indeed all you need.

Encourage Yourself

David's home town Ziklag was invaded by unknown enemies. All the women and children of his town were taken captives including his wives and children. In addition, everything of value was stolen by his attackers and his town was burned to the ground. David's soldiers that he led contemplated to kill him because they blamed him for the invasion. He had no one to turn to but God.  "And David encouraged himself in the Lord," After Satanic invasions, it is important to make a decision not to quit.

Playing dead is not an option. Call on God who is our eternal source to navigate for you. Encouraging yourself in the Lord is a powerful faith building exercise, reflecting on all the past victories that the Lord has won in your life. The result of this spiritual exercise will cause our faith in God to be reignited to levels that will lead to victory.

Ask God for Direction

"And David enquired at the Lord, saying, shall I pursue after this troop? Shall I overtake them? And He answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all." (1 Samuel 30v8)

With your faith back up to levels where you are ready to take action, it is import to spend some time, enough time to ask God to give clear directions. Attempting to move on without God being the director of your way forward will give the enemy a clear shot to kill you. Be specific in your enquiry to God. When God has spoken and given clear directions it is time to reignite faith and hope in the people you lead.

Pursue the Enemy Recover your loss

It is God's desire to replace all that the enemy has stolen in multiplied portions. When you have suffered satanic invasions that results in great loss, it is God's way of signalling his intent to reposition you and to elevate you to heights that you would not have aimed for if all remained intact. He will impart a vision and a plan to execute it.

Do not hesitate, there is nothing to lose when all is already lost. On the road to recovery show kindness. Do not be preoccupied with your own pursuit so that helping others become off limits.

The key to your recovery is often held by the persons we help on our journey to recovery. David stopped to help a man that was unconscious in the heat of his search for his enemies that stole from him and had his family hostage.

The man, when revived, lead David to exactly where he needed to be, opening the door for him to take back all that he lost. David ended up wealthier than he was before his invasion.

Interpretation is vital. Our invasion simply means it's time for elevation. Do not see defeat in what the enemy has done. Let's see only that the Lord has signalled. It's time for you to experience His blessing and His abundance in much greater measure.
