MOE addresses students access to CSEC results
The Ministry of Education says it has been receiving numerous complaints that students have been experiencing challenges accessing their CSEC results.
The ministry says it does not support the withholding of results and reminds schools that it should not restrict students’ access.
It says it has also received reports that many schools are experiencing legitimate technical difficulties in accessing their results.
The ministry says it has been working closely with the Overseas Examinations Commission and the Caribbean Examinations Council to resolve these issues.
Schools that have been receiving reports of these error messages are asked to contact the Overseas Examinations Commission by telephone at 876-618-3715 so that alternate arrangements can be made for them to access their results.
The education ministry is encouraging principals to continue to cooperate with it so that it can resolve these cases in the shortest possible time.
