Jamaica House press room to get $64 million upgrade

The Government is to spend approximately $64 million to refurbish the press room at Jamaica House.

Cabinet approved the contract to Build Rite Construction Company to undertake the works.

The refurbishing works, as outlined in a Ministry Paper tabled in Parliament on Tuesday, will include the supply and installation of new electrical fixtures and data/ communication fixtures as well as dry-walling and painting.
