Dr Carey Wallace, executive director of the Tourism Enhancement Fund (TEF), formally hands over six infusion pumps used to administer medication intravenously, valued at $720,000, to Sister Marva Forbes, director of the Child Health Programme at The University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI). The occasion forms part of TEF’s Annual Christmas Treat, which was this year hosted at The UHWI Paediatric Wards on December 8. TEF’s donation also included gifts for 43 patients, care packages for their parents, as well as tokens of appreciation to the nurses and patient-care assistants.
