Murder probe on for body found in Montego Bay
The Montego Bay police in St James are investigating the death of a man, so far unidentified, whose body was found on Orange Street on Friday, December 21, and is is now being treated as a murder.
The body appears to be in the late 30s and is of dark complexion, medium buid and about 183 centimetres (6 feet) long. The body has a straight face with facial hair, a straight nose, low-cut hair with the front of the head bald. It was clad in white T-shirt, army-green jeans and was barefooted, the police said in a release.
Reports are that at about 6 p.m., passers-by saw the body lying along the road and called the police. The man was taken to hospital by citizens. However, he was pronounced dead. The police were contacted and on Saturday, December 22, forensic crime scene investigators processed the body and found that it had a stab wound to the chest and a wound to the head.
