Four arrested in police operations in Islington, St Mary
Law enforcement officers in St Mary today arrested four people during a series of targeted operations in the Islington area of the parish.
The operations were carried out between 4:45 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
Acting Superintendent of Police in charge of the St Mary police division, Anthony Wallace, says two of the individuals were arrested in connection with the possession of identity information while two others were taken into custody for questioning in relation to an ongoing murder investigation.
"The operations were conducted without incident and represent a continued effort by the police and supporting agencies to address criminal activities in the area," said Wallace.
"The police remain committed to maintaining public safety and urge anyone with relevant information to assist by contacting the St Mary police or 311," he added.
