A wrecker takes the split Nissan Tiida away from the crash scene on the New Green main road in Mandeville, Manchester.

A teenage mother died in a horrific crash in Mandeville, Manchester this morning after one of the rear tyres of the vehicle in which she was travelling was clipped by another car that was attempting to get past.

The police say Junique Chung, 19, who resided in the parish, was thrown from the Nissan Tiida after it crashed and split in two.

The driver of the doomed vehicle, identified as upcoming entertainer ‘Fresh King’, reportedly suffered a broken leg and has been hospitalised.

The police Corporate Communication Unit reports that the Tiida and a Mitsubishi motor car were travelling in the same direction when the driver of the Mitsubishi attempted to pass.

It’s reported that the Mitsubishi clipped one of the rear wheels on the Tiida causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle before it slammed into a utility pole near the intersection of New Green and Clarke’s Town roads.
