Oberlin schoolboy injured by schoolmate in Lawrence Tavern Square

A male student of Oberlin High School was today rushed to the Kingston Public Hospital after being hit in the head with a piece of metal by a schoolmate in Lawrence Tavern Square in St Andrew.
The injured boy reportedly lost consciousness.
He regained consciousness while being assisted to medical attention.
His mother was informed by the school about the incident and she rushed to meet him at the hospital.
She told The Gleaner that he is her only son and that she is thinking about pulling him from the school because of the violence.
