Police identify victim in Banbury shooting

Investigators in the St Catherine North police division have now identified the victim of a fatal shooting two days ago, in Banbury district in the parish, as 35-year-old Rikal Hunter of Cheesefield district, St Catherine.
About 7 p.m., on May 8, Hunter was a passenger in a Toyota Allion motor car when a group of armed men brandished guns and fired upon the vehicle.
Hunter was hit repeatedly.
The occupants of the car were rushed to hospital where Hunter was pronounced dead and another man admitted with injuries.
The Linstead Criminal Investigation Branch is probing the matter.
