Minister of Labour and Social Security and Member of Parliament for South East Clarendon, Pearnel Charles, Jr, and CHASE Fund CEO W. Billy Heaven play drums with members of the Golden Touch Marching and Performance Band, witnessed by Mayor of May Pen, Councillor Noel Williams. The occasion was the presentation of musical instruments to the band by the CHASE Fund on June 30 at the Longville Park Community Centre in Clarendon. Among the musical instruments that were handed over were drums, trumpets and tambourines. Since its inception, the CHASE Fund has provided funding to 90 schools and marching bands under its Music in Schools and Communities programme.
