Light earthquake felt in western Jamaica

It was felt about 12:30 p.m.

The Earthquake Unit at the University of the West Indies, Mona, says a light earthquake of preliminary magnitude 4.0 was felt in western Jamaica on Tuesday.

It says the epicentre was located approximately 22 kilometres southwest of Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland.

It was felt about 12:30 p.m.
