THE TOWN of Mandeville is poised for a new residential and housing development, as the state-of-the-art Bloomfield Commercial Complex is set to officially open for business by December 2024.

Bloomfield Commercial Complex is a premier destination for businesses seeking office and commercial facilities in the town of Mandeville. It is strategically located at the entrance to the town’s centre, all major landmarks and essential services, and also easily accessible to all forms of public transportation.

According to Simone Spence-Johnson, president of the Manchester Chamber of Commerce and realtor associate with Keller Williams Realty, this new development is the first of its kind in Manchester, which will set the pace for what is to come in the parish for the next three to five years.

“We have seen a surge in persons relocating to the parish for residence, even if they work outside of the parish. The result is increased traffic to the area for both residential units and businesses spaces alike,” Spence-Johnson said.

The Bloomfield Commercial Centre boasts a diverse tenant mix, including leading corporation, start-ups, professional service firms, and retail establishments. This diverse ecosystem fosters collaborations, networking opportunities and synergies among tenants, driving innovations and growth.

“The target market for the Bloomfield Professional Centre is corporate individuals and business owners who are looking to enhance their business experience to clients. We are looking for unique product and service offerings that can enhance businesses, educate, entertain and generate monetary value to support a thriving ecosystem of entrepreneurs and organisations alike,” Spence-Johnson said.

The incorporates ecofriendly design elements, such as energy-efficient light, green spaces and recycling initiatives to minimise environmental impact and create a healthy workplace. To date, Blocks B and C are 95 per cent completed. Block D is ready for a buyer to customise the area to their liking, while Block E is four floors of 20,000 square feet and almost ready for retrofitting. Block A will be complete by mid next year.

“When you compare this development to any other in Jamaica, you will see that it is held to a higher standard. The type of design, the consideration that went into the details, and the touches that are being added to the finishing would show any prospective buyer or investors that acquiring one of these suites is value for money and they want to get in early. The return on investment has been calculated to be about 8.5 per cent.

With the exploding economy in central Jamaica, connecting eastern and western commercial and residential corridors, the new highway has opened up this part of the island and is welcoming phenomenal interests in all forms of business, residential and social activities.

Here at Bloomfield Professional Centre, we pride ourselves with working with experts in the industry that have above-average experience in commercial construction. The materials used are hand-picked by our engineering team from the manufacturers, and the craftsmanship is beyond reproach. We are building the future of Manchester today,” Spence-Johnson said.
