15-year-old boy charged for allegedly stealing iPhone

A 15-year-old boy of Bottom Town, Clarks Town, in Trelawny has been charged with burglary following an incident within his community on Sunday.

The police say about 11:45 p.m., a woman was sleeping when she heard her daughter screaming.

The woman ran to her daughter's room, turned on the lights and allegedly saw the 15-year-old boy with her daughter's iPhone 14 in a corner of the room.

The police were summoned and the teen was taken into custody and was subsequently charged.
