Driver in fatal Washington Boulevard crash charged

The driver of the car which mowed down two men who were aiding a motorist along Washington Boulevard in St Andrew last month has been charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving.

He is Tor Anuar McIntosh of a Kingston 6 address.

The Duhaney Park police say about 3:35 a.m. on September 28, two motorists stopped along the roadway to assist another motorist who had an accident.

The two men were reportedly standing along the roadway when they were hit by a motor car.

The injured men were taken to hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries.

They have since been identified as 37-year-old Javaughn Rodney, a motor vehicle inspector of Dagwood Place, Ebonyville in Spanish Town, St Catherine, and 50-year-old businessman, Mark Garrick of Rudolph Avenue, Kingston 20.
