Matthew Samuda sworn in as St Ann North East MP

Matthew Samuda has taken his seat in the House of Representatives after being sworn in as the new Member of Parliament for St Ann North East.

Samuda, who previously sat in the Senate, took the Oath of Allegiance this afternoon at Gordon House.

He succeeds Marsha Smith who resigned in September.

A by-election was held on September 30 and Samuda was elected as the MP.
