Dr Kevin Brown, president, University of Technology, Jamaica, accepts a symbolic cheque for $420,000 from Samantha Charles, head, VM Foundation, on September 23, towards assisting several UTech students whose dwellings were recently destroyed by a fire. The students have since been housed at the university’s School of Hospitality and Tourism Management training hotel.
