The Clarendon police have charged two men in connection with a house breaking and larceny incident that occurred in Hartwell Gardens, May Pen, on October 15.

The accused are 22-year-old construction worker Christoff Scott, also known as 'Bredda,' and 29-year-old Romario Chantilou, also known as 'Kangaroo,' both of Hazard Drive, May Pen. They have been charged with receiving stolen property, house breaking, and larceny.

Police reports indicate that the men were arrested during an operation after law enforcement officers stopped a Nissan AD wagon driven by Chantilou, with Scott as a passenger. A search of the vehicle allegedly uncovered a refrigerator valued at approximately $246,000, which had been reported stolen between August 30 and October 14.

Detectives from the May Pen Criminal Investigations Branch subsequently charged both men.
