Elderly man injured in Maxfield Avenue shooting

An elderly man was injured in a gun attack on Maxfield Avenue, St. Andrew, earlier this evening.

According to reports, gunshots rang out shortly after 7:00 p.m., causing bystanders to scatter for safety.

Gunmen reportedly opened fire on patrons gathered at a local shop and bar in the area.

Following the attack, the injured man was promptly transported to the hospital for treatment.

The St Andrew South Police have since launched an investigation into the incident.
