Cops charged with murder over Windward Road triple shooting remanded
The two policemen charged for the recent shooting deaths of two men and a teen boy along Windward Road in Kingston were today remanded for a bail application on December 17.
Corporal Mark Roye and Constable Kelby White made their first appearance in the Gun Court today and were remanded on three counts each of murder, firearm to commit a felony, and discharge of firearm in a public place.
The men were charged in relation to the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Oshane Stubbs, 19-year-old Orando Campbell and 20-year-old Kayshawn Smith on November 10.
They are also jointly charged with two counts of perverting the course of justice.
The cops were charged on Sunday.
Roye is being represented by attorney-at-law Peter Champagnie, KC, while White is being attorney Athea Grant.
