Emergency services responding to bomb scare at Meadowbrook high and prep schools

Classes at Meadowbrook High and Meadowbrook Preparatory schools have been suspended for the day following reports of a bomb threat.

The emergency services, including the Jamaica Fire Brigade (JFB) and The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF), have been summoned to the institutions.

Commander for the St Andrew North police division Deputy Superintendent Randy Sweeney told The Gleaner that the police are not taking the threat lightly. 

Meadowbrook High also issued an advisory on the emergency situation.

Parents were advised to pick up their children.
