Curfew in sections of Rockfort extended

The curfew will now end at 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday.

A 48-hour curfew that was imposed in sections of Rockfort, Kingston 2, on Saturday has been extended.

The curfew will now end at 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday.

The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:

North: Along an imaginary line from Oliver Road and to the intersection of Hildene then to Warieka Road onto the intersection Harbour Road.

East: Along Warieka Road then continue onto Harbour Road to the intersection of Windward Road.

South: Along Windward Road from Warieka Road then to Lucas Road.

West: Along Lucas Road from Windward Road then onto Oliver Road onto the intersection of Hildene.

During the hours of the curfew, all persons within its boundaries are required to remain within their premises, unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
