Clarendon mason charged for damaging man’s house following fight

A Clarendon man who went to the house of another and destroyed items after the two had a fight has been charged with burglary and malicious destruction of property.

He is 38-year-old Andrew Baker, a mason of Chateau district.

Reports from the May Pen police are that on Sunday, December 22, Baker and the man were at a party in the community when a dispute developed between them, which escalated into a fight.

After the fight, Baker went to the man's house, kicked the front door open, and destroyed items valued $20,000, according to the police.

A report was made to the police and Baker later turned himself in and was subsequently charged.

His court date is being finalised.
