This holiday season, Dolla Financial launched the Gift of Hope Initiative, a nationwide effort to bring Christmas cheer to homes across Jamaica.

Supported by Ultra Financier and A-List Marketing Entertainment Group, the initiative provided meals, gifts, and donations to community homes, ensuring that everyone experienced the joy of the season.

The initiative spanned Dolla branches throughout Jamaica, with each branch selecting a local home to support. Among the beneficiaries were:

• Manning’s Boys Home in Southfield, St Elizabeth

• Yvonne’s Nursing Home in Pipers Corner, Amity, Westmoreland

• Oasis Nursing Home in Amity, Westmoreland

• Faith Adult Care Home in Spanish Town, St Catherine

• Hopes House Infant and Nursery in St Thomas

At The Nest Children’s Home in Kingston, the corporate office spearheaded a memorable treat for the 15 children in residence, aged five to 14-plus on December 18. The children enjoyed KFC chicken, pizza, toys, and gifts, creating a day filled with laughter and joy.

Captain Keith Haughton of The Nest Children’s Home shared heartfelt thanks stating, “We are happy to have A-List Marketing, Dolla Financial, and Ultra Financier here with us today. They have had a great impact on the children and have treated them with a wonderful meal and gifts. We want to say thank you for making a change and difference in the children’s lives. They understand the true meaning of Christmas, and we thank you for sharing that with them. May God bless you all. Have a Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year.”

The initiative is part of a broader commitment to community service for Dolla Financial.

“At Dolla Financial, we believe in the power of giving and the importance of making a positive difference in the lives of others, especially during the holiday season. It is a privilege to contribute to The Nest Children’s Home with non-perishable items, along with a nice Christmas treat including meals and gifts, alongside our wonderful partners at A-List Marketing and Entertainment. Together, we are spreading joy and hope, ensuring that these children experience the warmth and love they deserve this Christmas,” expressed Kenroy Kerr, CEO of Dolla Financial.

Speaking on behalf of Ultra Financier, David Henriques, CEO, noted: “We are proud to stand alongside Dolla Financial in this effort, supporting these children with the gift of hope and care during the festive season. It’s moments like these that remind us of the importance of community and compassion.”

Adding to the festive cheer, Nackeria Smickle, managing director of A-List Marketing Entertainment Group, reflected on the significance of the initiative, stating, “Investing in children is investing in the future. At A-List Marketing Entertainment Group, we are committed to nurturing the potential of every child, fostering their growth, and creating opportunities for their development. We firmly believe that the joy of the holiday season lies in giving back and spreading smiles. Being a partner in this Christmas initiative is our way of ensuring every child feels the magic and warmth of the season.”

Through this initiative, Dolla Financial, Ultra Financier, and A-List Marketing are seeking to exemplify the true meaning of Christmas: sharing hope, love, and compassion. By working together, they’ve left a lasting impact on the children of The Nest and the broader community, ensuring that the holiday season is filled with joy and cherished memories.
