M16 rifle seized by Westmoreland police

Cops on Tuesday seized an M16 rifle in Georges Plain, Frome, Westmoreland.

Reports from the Savanna-La-Mar police are that about 3:30 p.m., police, acting on information, conducted a search of an open field where the firearm was found in a bag.

No one was arrested in connection to the seizure.

The investigation continues.
