Traffic changes, no weapons allowed at Freedom Street Concert - Police
The police are advising persons who will be attending the Vybz Kartel Freedom Street Concert at the National Stadium on Tuesday, December 31, that no offensive weapons will be allowed inside the venue.
They say firearms, explosives, knives, glass bottles, large umbrellas and scissors or any other item that can be used to cause serious harm or injury are not permitted.
Meanwhile, the public also announced traffic changes.
No parking will be allowed at the National Stadium.
A one-way system will be strictly enforced.
Motorists travelling along Mountain View Avenue and Arthur Wint Drive may experience disruptions in normal traffic flow before, during and after the event.
Shuttle parks have been established at Heroes Park, 8 West King's House Road and Jamaica College.
Traffic personnel will be deployed along the roadways and members of the public are being advised to follow their instructions.
