Edgehill building more than just homes

Edgehill Homes Limited, understands this concept, and owner David Morrison, has ensured that his new development, The Gate of Edgehill, a luxurious housing scheme located on the outskirts of Ocho Rios, will help to do just that.

Edgehill Homes had already built the Boscobel Infant school - a kindergarten to accompany the Boscobel Primary School. They are working to enrich the community, and encourages future residents to make a tiny contribution to Food For The Poor, that will go towards the Boscobel Infant School Project.

Morrison who is a Canadian and also CEO of Morrison Financial, has developed a love for Jamaica. He admits that this is not just a money-making venture for him, but rather, a love for the country. For him, it is like the love a parent has for a child and thus he will do what he can to nurture and invest in the country's growth.

This development has also helped to provide jobs for approximately 200 people. They are also paving the Mango Valley road from the highway pass the housing complex to Mango Valley.

The 63-acre property, will house 304 homes, a clubhouse, a pool and an outdoor gym. Persons will be able to purchase the 1,658 square-foot homes called the Diana or the 1,904 square-foot homes called the Elizabeth.

PRIVATEVIEWING

Guests were invited to a private viewing of their possible model homes. The spacious cosy houses felt just like home, as warm hostesses showed guests around the three bedroom, two bathroom premises, while realtors from Keller Williams Jamaica (exclusive realtors for the complex), answered questions from interested buyers.

Kamila McDonald, hosted the brief formalities, and welcome done by the man behind it all, Morrison. Guests were also greeted by Robert Montague, a son of St Mary, minister of transport and mining and member of parliament for St Mary Western.

Sales and marketing manager for Dunsire Development, Electra White, gave a brief overview of the premises, before Keller Williams pointed to his agents. There was also a cutting of the ribbon, before guests grabbed a bite and mingled while contemplating ownership of one of the new cosy abodes.
