SAJ staff joins Marcus Garvey School in celebrating their graduates

Shipping Association of Jamaica (SAJ) staff members joined teachers, parents, and well-wishers to celebrate the 20 young graduates of the Marcus Garvey School in Greenwich Farm, Kingston, at their ceremony, held at the Holy Name of Jesus Church on Wednesday, June 27. The Marcus Garvey Staff Committee of the SAJ rewarded the graduating students with backpacks. The school is sponsored by the SAJ, which provides support for school infrastructure and activities.

In addition to this, the staff supports a feeding programme for the students through voluntary monthly contributions.

The Ministry of Education reports that the Marcus Garvey School is the best-performing basic school in its region. See pictorials highlights below.
