CSA Shipping Executives Conference moves to May 2021

Published:Tuesday | April 7, 2020 | 12:15 AM

IN VIEW of the developing situation with the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and global restrictions on travel, the Caribbean Shipping Association (CSA) has decided to cancel the 2020 staging of the Caribbean Shipping Executives Conference and to host the conference in May 2021 in St Lucia, which was the scheduled host for the 2020 conference.

CSA and the host of the conference, the St Lucia Shipping Association, agreed that a careful assessment of the global situation necessitated the postponement of the conference. Although held in the Caribbean, the CSA conferences are attended by persons not only drawn from the region, but also from Europe and North America. The CSA expresses gratitude to participants, speakers and supporters of this conference for their understanding. The association will provide information on the new schedules in due course.

CSA also expresses its hope that its stakeholders will remain safe and take the precautions that have been recommended to avoid infection.
