With the weekend almost in full stride, Jamaica Money Market Brokers (JMMB) decided to celebrate TGIT (Thank God It's Thursday) in fine style last week by feting investors and clients to a night of cocktails and conversations.

Greeted by a luxurious red carpet, those specially invited confirmed their attendance on the guest list before making their way upstairs to the renowned CRU Bar and Kitchen. Waiting at the top of the stairs were JMMB staff, eager to offer guests entry cards.

As the bar came to life, dispensing fine red, white and sweet wines, along with any juice of choice, many began to let their hair down, engaging in chit chat. They also took the opportunity to put their cards to good use. Everyone was given a card with little known facts of life on one side, and the other labelled 'Find Me'.

Individuals were encouraged to match people's names with activities they had experienced - a sure fire way for all to break the ice. As an added bonus, guests who completed all slots on their cards were rewarded with prizes, courtesy of JMMB.

The scheduled speeches were short and included a warm welcome, along with highlights of the new services offered at JMMB's Knutsford Boulevard branch. They also revealed some of the services offered by the JMMB group, which includes insurance, banking and remittance, and with the move to integrate all their branches, these can now all be don under one roof.

With formalities out of the way, it was time for music to take off. Bouts of laughter could be heard echoing over the beats. Waves of conversation floated throughout the night as guests enjoyed a beautiful evening under the stars.
