The National Arena is slated to come alive on May 29-31, for the 10th staging of the Health, Home, and Garden Expo (HHG) under the theme 'Positive Living'.

"This year promises to be an expo with a difference," promises event coordinator Fay Wint at the media launch, on Wednesday at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel.

Wint noted that the expo's aim is to encourage the development of a beautiful environment and healthy lifestyles. "We want to make it as interactive as possible and not have our patrons 'pass through' but instead experience the activities at the booths, to do at least one health check, participate in the workshops and enjoy the entertainment," Wint noted in her address.

Special features

Some of the special features at this year's expo will include: decorating and gardening workshops, healthy street, artist village, children village, small business centre, health check points, decorating demonstrations, floral displays and live entertainment at intervals each day.

Patrons will also have the opportunity to win one of three main gate prizes which include: a bedroom makeover courtesy of Singer Jamaica and Interior design by Fay Wint; a garden makeover by Evergrow Garden Centre and Stephen Jones Landscaping; and a paint makeover courtesy of BH Paints.

Wint noted that the expo will have something for everyone, and patrons are guaranteed a good time and leave feeling refreshed and re-energised. "HHG expo is going to be a fantastic event this yea," she promised.
