The hip and popular Regency Bar and Lounge celebrated its second anniversary fiesta last Saturday, in a themed party fit for the ages.

Patrons did not disappoint when they turned up at the Terra Nova All Suite Hotel dressed to kill, as was requested on the invitation. Staying true to the 002 Bond theme, they were dressed to the 'T', and our style lens spotted a myriad of trends accessorised with feather boas and head chains. The gents kept it classic with suits and bow ties.

The James Bond-themed fiesta provided an indoor and outdoor ambiance with two bars catering to every need and desire, whether their cocktail of choice was the famed Spectre 002 (named after the upcoming Bond film) or the Belvedere martini. These went very well with scrumptious hors d'oeuvres that were available at every turn.

The mood was set to celebrate, and celebrate they did. DJ Rio kept guests on the dance floor - grooving to EDM and reggae mixes. Cooling things off in between were performances by singer Satrina Constantine with Ibo Cooper and friends performing hits from the different James Bond soundtracks - Golden Eye, Diamonds Are Forever, Live And Let Die' and Skyfall and an totally unrelated bonus - All About That Bass.

Bond would have been proud and happy to join in and enjoy his favourite cocktail. From all indications, it was clear that partygoers' can't wait until next year for the third-anniversary celebration.
