Last Sunday night the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel's Talk of the Town suite lived up to its name, as it was ground zero for the revelation of the chosen 23 finalist in this year's Miss Universe Jamaica competition.

Guests rolled in to see the beauties that will be vying to represent Jamaica on the international stage, and hopefully take home the crown.

The charismatic and graceful Fae Ellington hosted the event, as the sponsors were the first to take to the stage before the audience were presented to the beautiful contestants. The Gleaner Company's Terry Wilson, Unilever Jamaica's Joshua Doyle, CaribShopper's Kibwe McGann and ARRC Creative Media Limited's Ryan Mattis all gave the event their stamp of approval, and stated how happy they were to be a part of the competition. They commended franchise holder - Uzuri International's Mark McDermott and Karl Williams for their exemplary work with the contestants.

The anxious audience could not be held in suspense anymore. One by one all 23 contestants made their entrance in bold, colourful and sexy cocktail attire before turning up the heat in sexy swimwear by Polka Dots Swimwear the official swimwear designer for Miss Universe Jamaica.

The audience was captivated.
