World Youth Champs: 15-year-old Taylor wins Jamaica's first gold

Fifteen-year-old Christopher Taylor delivered as expected in the boy's 400m at the IAAF World Youth Championships in Colombia this evening, winning gold in a world leading 45.27 seconds. 

Taylor was challenged in the final 150 metres before pressing ahead of the United States Josephus Lyles who posted a personal best 45.46 and his team-mate Keshun Reed in a personal best 45.96.

It was Jamaica's first gold medal of the championships.
