Veteran local coach Sylvester Campbell has called for sweeping changes for Jamaica's Netball coaching staff.

This after the Sunshine Girls' disastrous showing at the just concluded Netball World Cup in Sydney, Australia.

The netballers failed to win a medal at the championships after they were comprehensively beaten 66 to 44 by rivals England in the third place play-off on Saturday.

The Jamaicans, who were one of the favourites to win the gold medal, ended their campaign with two consecutive losses after going down 67 to 76 to Australia in the semifinals.

Campbell says the entire coaching team should hand in their resignations to the Netball Jamaica hierarchy now.

According to him, Netball Jamaica needs new personnel with fresh ideas to take the sport forward.
